Darn's Acting Bio

That Darn Oldham is at it again!

Darn was one of the original members of the Washington D.C. Black Repertory Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. in 1973 where he also studied Drama and Journalism at UDC.

He moved to Los Angeles where he had bit parts in numerous TV shows, movies and commercials, and landed the lead role in several stage plays. He toured the country in Shelly Garret’s “Living Room” for a couple years, toured the West Coast in “Evolution of the Soul Brother”, and toured the southeast in “Every Knee Shall Bow”, as well as was in the hit play about the first black President of the United States, “Our Time Has Come” at the 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia.

Darn also appeared in over 14 TV quiz shows, including Love Connection, To Tell The Truth, Blank Check, Scrabble, Scattergories, Sweethearts, Card Sharks, Wipe Out, Wheel Of Fortune, Studs, and more. 

He lived in Atlanta for some years before returning to Los Angeles. While in Atlanta he continued acting and landed the lead in several TV commercials.

Darn and his wife, Barbara, are now bi-coastal living in both Los Angeles and Atlanta, GA.
